Want to share information?

Use nagranitse.ru to tell other drivers how many cars1 are waiting to pass through Russian checkpoints Torfyanovka, Brusnichnoye and Svetogorsk in both directions.

If due to a large queue length you cannot count the number of cars, let us know the distance to the checkpoint in meters. The distance will be automatically converted2 into the number of cars. To be more accurate when finding out the distance to the checkpoint, use your GPS navigation device and the coordinates of the checkpoints (shown below).

Notes

1 The the total number of passenger cars (not buses or trucks) in the queue before the entrance barrier to a Russian checkpoint at the time when the message is sent.

If you are unable to determine the number of cars or the distance to the checkpoint, please leave the Number of Cars and the Queue Length fields blank. In the Comments field (or in your text message) describe where the queue starts, specifying any nearby object which can serve as a benchmark for other drivers, e.g. road sign, gas station, tax-refund cabin, etc.

Time spent in the queue, the condition of the road, the details of the border-crossing procedure and any other helpful, interesting, and preferably up-to-date information is welcome in the Comments field too.

2 The distance will be automatically converted into the number of cars at the rate of 6 meters per 1 car place and rounded. E.g. if you enter 1000 meters, the site will show 170 cars.
